A formidable malt backbone with light rye spiciness is lifted by rounded notes from botanical adjuncts and punctuated by a potent oak top note and tannic red wine character in the finish.
Crimson Fall is a celebration of all things red, brewed with heaps of coloured malts and rye, with foraged rosehips and hibiscus added during the boil. The beer was clean-fermented with our house saccharomyces ale yeast before being racked into Amarone wine barrels to finish for four months, developing strong woody flavours on top of a complex, exciting base.
